6 Days 5 Nights Village Craft Experience

Day One: Check In – Half Day Village Tour ( D)
(13:00 – 20:00)
Afternoon, Check in at Kaya House welcomed by host families with flower garland.  Coffee and tea breaks will be provided by Host Family upon the arrival.  The rest of afternoon will be programmed for learning Balinese basic Balinese dancing by the host. Continue to visit one of village Meeting halls and to learn their activities.  Note: the Activities are subject to the villager’s date.  Dinner will be at Warung Makan (Local Food Stall) at Mas Village.

Day Two : Mas Village Experience (B,L,D)
(09:00 – 17:00)
After breakfast, the first morning stop at biggest Hindu temple so called Taman Sari or Taman Pule. This temple was built by Bendesa Mas ( original inhabitant of the village ) dedicated to Hindu Highest Priest Dang Hyang Nirartha who visited the Village around 15th Century from Majapahit Kingdom East Java. Sash or sarung will be provided by Local Guide to enter the temple. Temple festival will be held every 210 Days or Kuningan Day. Next stop , visit elementry school in the villages, do not forget to bring presents for children if any such as pencils, books etc. Students always like your visit as they want to communicate with you, for asking the education experiences in your country of origin. Group pictures will be taken with our students.  Next Visit is the house of  the late  Ida Bagus Gelodog, a femous artist in Bali. He was a good friend of Mr. Rudolf Bonnet, femous Painter  from Holland who initiated ’Pita Maha Great Artists Foundation’ in 1930 supported by King of Ubud District ” Cokorda Gede Agung Sukawati”. Mr. Ida Bagus Anom of Gelodog Son will give short workshop in English regarding the meaning of mask for Balinese people and its culture.  Lunch will be served at local restaurant in the Village. After lunch , your activities local guide will take guest to local house for workshop to make  a balinese offering or CANANG SARI. Local Guide will explain the meaning of Balinese Offering in their daily lifes. Evening program is cooking lessons for Dinner at  kaya House . You will be active participants in this cooking lesson and to learn Balinese Foods.  Host Families will have Dinners togethers. Soft drinks , coffee , tea, mineral waters will be provided.  After dinner evening at leisure.

Day Three : Ubud Monkey Forest-Rice Terraced – Kintamani (B,L,D)
(08:30 – 17:00)
Breakfast at Kaya House. Leaving Mas village to visit The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary (Monkey Forest Ubud) is not just a tourist attractions or important component in the spiritual and economic life of the local community, but also an important spot for research and conservation programs. The special management and arrangement that have been done in this area encouraged researchers from various research institutions around the world to conduct a research, particularly on the monkey’s social interaction and behavior with their surrounding environment. Next stop is Ceking Rice Terraces at outskirt of Ubud is famous for its beautiful scenes of rice paddies involving the subak (traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system), which according to history, was passed down by a revered holy man named Rsi Markandeya in the eighth century. If time permits Holy Bubbling water temple or Tampaksiring is very worth to visit on the way up to Kintamani. Lunch will be at local restaurant at Kintamani over looking to Batur Volcano and Bali biggest lake Batur. This is the most highlight or  favorite tourist destinations in Bali on which the panorama is surrounded by the captivating nature and there are six ancient villages around cauldron of Batur Lake which is often conceived by Bali Age Village. On the way back to Kaya House, special stop will be made at Agro tourism where we can learn many kinds of coffee beans including the Luwak one.

Day Four: Explore Singaraja North Bali  (B,L.D)
(08:30 – 17:00)
Breakfast at kaya House. Tranquil rural countryside awaits you as you traverse the whole width of Bali, to Singaraja and Lovina Beach on the north coast. Stop at Pacung to enjoy the spectacular surroundings view. Higher still, the countryside is alpine with mosses, creepers and ferns. Visit Candi Kuning fruit and flower market with exotic wild orchids, roses and even strawberries! Next stop is Bedugul– an attractive mountain resort located at 859 meters above sea level. Serene lake Beratan fills the ancient crater of Mount Batukaru and the local people honor the goddess of the waters, Dewi Danau. The delightful small temple of Ulun Danu dedicated to this goddess is built on a small promontory on the lake. Continue to north Bali and stop for walk through jungle to see Gitgit Waterfall before going on the town of Singaraja, on the north coast of Bali. End route along the coast of Lovina is a fabulous black and beach. A stop will be made for lunch (included) at Lovina Beach. The returns trip takes you along different and little used road via Pupuan through coffee plantations and spectacularly terraced rice fields. Dinner will be served at Local restaurant.

Day Five: Full Day Mask Carving (B,L,D)
(09:00 – 17:00)
Breakfast at Home Stay. This is  full day  will be fulfilled with Mask Carving activities with the artist. Wayan Muka, the mask maker will host you how to carve a mask from beginning until afternoon. Lunch will be served at local restaurant.  You will finish your mask carving until afternoon and you can have it for present.  Before farewell dinner, we will invite you for conducting fire ceremony for blessing. Dinner will be at home stay.

Day Six: Relax and Departure (B)
(06:00 – 07:00)
Breakfast at leisure at Kaya House  and wait for departure to next destination. Bon Voyage !
